A little about me.
I’m Kathleen Booth, a career CMO who has spent the last two decades helping high-growth companies stand out, scale, and sharpen their point of view. I started my career by founding one of HubSpot’s earliest partner agencies, Quintain Marketing, which I later sold before stepping into a series of high-velocity CMO roles at venture-backed startups including Attila Security, clean.io, and Tradeswell, leading two of the three of them to successful acquistion.
Before joining Sequel.io, I spent three years as SVP of Marketing & Growth at Pavilion, leading brand, demand, and community for a global network of more than 10,000 go-to-market leaders. That chapter deepened my belief that the future of growth sits at the intersection of community, learning, and shared experience.
Today I serve as VP of Marketing at Sequel.io, where we are building the foundation for the intelligent website. My work focuses on shaping a brand that leads with clarity and conviction, building an AI-first marketing engine that moves fast without losing its humanity, and supporting a product that is redefining how companies turn their websites into revenue-generating experiences.
From building AI‑first marketing orgs and community‑powered GTM engines to crafting challenger brands that punch above their weight, my playbooks consistently compound revenue and elevate valuation for companies in the coveted $5‑20 M growth window. Along the way I’ve been named one of TopRank’s “50 Top B2B Marketers to Watch,” hailed by USA Today as a “Global Marketing Advisor on the Rise,” and selected as one of only 30 marketers worldwide for LinkedIn’s inaugural Influencer cohort.
Entrepreneurship still sits at the center of who I am. I grew up in a family of small-business owners, and I continue to advise early-stage SaaS founders as a fractional CMO. Whether I’m working with my team at Sequel, speaking about the future of AI-powered marketing, or mentoring the next generation of operators, my goal is the same as it has always been: help ambitious people and the companies they’re building grow faster and with more confidence.

My story
I grew up watching my parents navigate the highs and lows of business ownership, so building and growing companies feels second nature. After founding and successfully exiting a HubSpot partner agency, I shifted from launching ventures to scaling them—leading marketing for VC‑backed B2B tech firms through the pivotal $5–20 M revenue window and into meaningful, lasting growth.
That path eventually brought me to Pavilion, where I spent three years as SVP of Marketing & Growth. There I built brand, demand, and community engines for a global network of more than 10,000 go-to-market leaders and saw firsthand how powerful shared learning and connection can be in shaping someone’s career.
Today I’m VP of Marketing at Sequel.io, working alongside a team that is reimagining what the modern website can be. My focus is on building an AI-first, brand-forward marketing organization and helping bring to life an intelligent web experience that connects content, data, and buyer intent in ways that drive real revenue.
The through-line in my journey is simple. When ambitious teams are ready to level up, I help turn vision into velocity, and I make sure the people building the company grow along with it.
